Essentials - Getting to the core of Christian life

It’s possible to grow up in the church and not understand the basics of the Christian Life. Some people leave the church frustrated knowing a lot about “church stuff” but not much about Christ. Others have yet to make a commitment to church because they hear about the good news that they have yet to experience through the people they meet representing the church. It’s possible for church people to be full of church and not leaning into the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in such a way that their lives are full of Christ. Why is this important? We are in a world of violence, hurricanes, political and racial unrest, wildfires, and an ongoing pandemic. The world needs people who are simply going to church but living out the mission of the church, by being full of Christ. This is why our new series will focus on the essentials of living as Christ-followers in a way that transforms lives and communities.
