CONFIDENTIALITY STATEMENT & COMMUNICATION POLICY

As part of your responsibilities as a volunteer serving in ministry at Midtown Church, you may learn of or be entrusted with sensitive information of a confidential nature. During your participation in ministry, any information, including, but not limited to, personal and private information about church members, pastors, or employees, will be considered and kept as the private and confidential records of Midtown Church. These records may only be used in performing work for Midtown Church and must not be divulged to any firm, individual, or institution except on the direct written authorization of the Executive Pastor. Your failure to honor this confidentiality requirement may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination as a volunteer. If you choose not to serve at Midtown Church for any reason, we ask that you continue to treat as private and privileged any such sensitive information. You should not use, divulge, or communicate to any person or entity any such sensitive information without the express written approval of the Executive Pastor. Midtown Church will pursue legal remedies for unauthorized use or disclosure of sensitive, confidential information. All Midtown property (keys, equipment, resources, etc.) must be returned upon conclusion of your volunteer service with this organization. Volunteers who violate this policy may be subject to discipline, up to and including termination as a volunteer.
